weekly.... er.... latest developments

Hello, and welcome to this update. Im sorry its been a while, but things are getting quite busy around here. Firstly, Hear for you is taken off better than I hoped, I have a confirmed installtion in Shepton Mallet, one in Gloucester, Sutton and well, you know the rest. You can see all the deployments at https://hearforyou@mymentalwellness.uk Take P-heART is going strength to strength, as we, i tal.... type, we are receving more and more donated supplies. We need to advertise the service better. We do get a core 8 to 10 people each week but we could be doing far better. We had a meeting with the social perscribers last week who have started to signpost to Take P-heART so in that regards, woot woot. And now, yes, we have launched a YouTube channel. The intention is to create a short video for each service we signpost to. this will be an additional description for the website, so, when you find a service you are looking for, you can see what they do, actually from the service themselves. The channel can be found at https://www.youtube.com/@mymentalwellnessukcic As we attend several meetings, we are considering adding a video each week with a highlight about whats going on locally. Maybe in the future, when we expand a bit more, we can have people from each area / district / town.... give a short video interview type update for their area. How cool would that be?

See you there !!

Hear for you website is live

Here for you website is live. you can find a link to the registration form and a map showing deployment. Im just so excited about hear for you, helping people find support they may not know about. and thats it. thats the update for today, im just so busy getting the website updated and .... yeah, its comming along.

i mean, imagine, a qr coded poster in every toilet, and if your in hospital, it has the potential to have a unique landing page per ward, so, your sat, doing your business, and you scan the code. You are then given two options, one is to view mymentalwellness.uk, the other is to find out more about the ward you are a patient in, or visiting someone at... the posibilities are endless...

Hear for you

I need to apologise. I have been meaning to do a update to the blog for a while, however, Hear For You has virtually taken over all my spare time. Furstly, Sutton Soup. No, we didnt win the vote, so we didnt come home with around £1,000 but we did come home knowing 200 more people knew about us. And, Sutton Bus Garage is going to sponcor us ! happy days. We came away with more than we expected. Since then, i have been talking to various people about funding, and attended a conference for dimenture. Again stood up in front of around 100 people, telling the story of My Mental Wellness UK. everybody was engage, i couldnt beleive it. After 4 people came up to me and said they were in tears.

So, Hear for you. Our newest project. Its a signposting project again, but this time, its posters given to every venue, with staff and / or public access. its a qr code which takes you to the front page on this website, with the intention for it to be installed in toilets. imagine, stressed, overwhelmed, worried, where do you go? the toilet cubicle. where its safe, quite, your alone, but who is availble to call, to talk to, and thats where the qr code comes in. I have given over 100 away so far, yes, they are free. no charge. There is a chargeable function / option but that comes later.
